It’s 2:28 am and I simply can’t sleep. A few hours ago I was deciding what to do, so I closed up the Live Messenger and I started to look at my DVDs to see what movie would I watch. As I’m a little bit emotional lately, I chose my favorite movie: Brokedown Palace. Why is it my favorite? Because it is the only movie that makes me cry for hours!! Other movies can make cry for a little bit or leave me nostalgic, but this is the only movie that really makes me cry (I mean it’s been almost 20 minutes since the movie ended and I’m still in tears, hehe). Maybe because I’m so into friendship and, as I always say, a friend is the most valuable thing you could ever find in the whole wide world.

The topic of the movie it’s simply great. Two best friends decided to make the trip of their lives before going to college. They decided to go to India to spend their last summer as teenagers, but of course, risk is worthy al the time and they lie to their parents bout their destination. While everything is all colorful and cheerful, the girls does not realize about the major danger they will encounter in their whole lives: they share a special type of “affection” (which I believe is sexual more than emotional) to the same man.

But for a pleasant surprise on on the movie, this guy it’s a drug dealer and he introduces some drugs in their luggage. So, when they are about to leave the country, they were cought and sent to the most fearful prison in India: Brokedown Palace. While struggling to find a way to get out of there, the girls are testing their friendship which at the end (and as in all good Hollywood movies) ended up winning. The sacrifice for one of them to save the other makes the perfect friendship, and it proves that friendship makes it through every hard times and every enemies you may encounter in the way.

I guess that if I analyze my relationship with my best friend, I will see some ups and downs, but we always make it through all. We survived a hard relationship (which made us split up for almost a month, haha), some differences of personalities, and some other hard times which are worthless to mention. This August, we turn 7 years of being best friends and we are even making a soundtrack! Haha. Later on I’ll post it in here so you can see each of our favorite songs. But anyways, I love my best friend and he is a really important part of my life. He is the one that knows it all about me; he is the one that can pick up the phone when I call him up at 4 in the morning all drunk and stuff; he is the shoulder when I cry; he is the one that helps me when I most need it; and he is the one that more likely won’t read up this post, hahaha. Luv ya Hector! BFF!

O.K. See? 40 mins after the movie ended and I’m still crying, haha. I’m such a lady when it comes to dramas, haha. But anyways, have fun and please comment in here. I’ll appreciate it.

PS: Some people is telling me to write in Spnish but I don’t want to, haha. If I do so, I’m pretty sure I’ll forget some words in English and I can’t afford it, haha. I use the language in my work, but is not the same. In there is has to be a professional English, and here I can chill regarding to it… Probably I’ll open a new blog in Spanish and keep up with posting both… but on the mean time, stick with this one, read it, and comment on it!
